The manufacturer of a premium crisp brand has recalled a batch of its products due to a risk of bags being contaminated with pieces of plastic.

The Food Standards Agency have warned there is a public health risk over the pieces, which are said to look similar to the crisps.

Packets with a best before date of May 28, 2016 are affected, in the following varieties: Lightly Salted 150g, Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar 40g, Mature Cheddar and Red Onion 40g, Lightly Salted multipack (5 x 30g) and Lightly Salted 30g.

Products can be returned with your name and address to Kettle Foods Ltd, Barnard Road, Norwich NR5 9JP.
