Police: Man taken to hospital after shooting

A man has been taken to hospital after a shooting at a flat in Glasgow.

The incident happened in the early hours of Monday at a property in the Knightswood area.

Detectives have launched a manhunt after the gun attack on Ian Holland which they are treating as attempted murder. Police confirmed that the horrific scene was left littered with cannabis plants.

About ten were in smashed pots in front of the flats where Mr Holland, 32, was blasted in the stomach.

A similar number were behind the block in Knightswood, Glasgow . Armed officers reportedly flooded the area after the shooting in the early hours of Monday.

It is believed that Mr Holland had not been living in the flat for long. A source said the shooting was linked to a drugs dispute.
