‘Not leaving town’: House Democrats plan to stay in session until aid deal is reached

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told fellow Democrats on Tuesday morning that she wants the House to remain in session until a bipartisan deal is reached on a long-stalled coronavirus aid package.

Democratic aides confirmed that the California Democrat made the announcement during a morning phone call with rank-and-file lawmakers.
