If you’re a college or university student, Hulu just announced another great reason to subscribe. Today, Hulu’s new Student Plan was announced and costs just $1.99 per month. That’s 65 percent off the regular $5.99 per month of the ad-supported service—valid as long as you remain a student.
The offer is good for both new and existing Hulu subscribers, and if you don’t already have Hulu, you need to sign up for an account here, then verify your student status using Sheer ID. If you are already a subscriber, just click “GET OFFER” on the page to apply the student discount pricing.
Unfortunately for anyone who subscribes to the Disney Bundle, with Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+, this deal is not available, and there is no free trial for the student plan.
Hulu’s ad-supported plan offers access to all kinds of TV shows including all the FX series and your favorite reality programming like The Bachelor, Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Survivor as well as shows like Brooklyn Nine-Nine, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Rick and Morty. Movies run the gamut, from classics like Scarface to indies like The Cooler to current hits like The Happiest Season. And, of course, you’ll get Hulu Originals, like the critically acclaimed The Handmaids Tale, Little Fires Everywhere and PEN15.
You can also get together, wherever you are, to screen your favorite content, virtually, using Watch Party—which lets up to eight Hulu Subscribers stream and chat together.
That’s after all your homework is done, of course.
